[BRLTTY] problem with braille edge on powerpc machine running debian wheezy

Okay, here's the new log. Yeah, I see my time is off too; it's wrong in /etc/localtime but the timezone shows up as Chicago and cdt; will track that down but just in case you noticed and wondered.
