Could you please test with 5.1 frm now on so that the latest code is being 
used. We need to see a debug log. To capture a debug log, please use the -L 
(uppercase) option to specify the path to the log file, and use the -l 
(lowercase) option to specify the needed log categories. In other words, please 
add the following two options to your invocation of brltty:

   -Lbrltty.log -ldebug,inpkts,outpkts

Please do this for each of the two drivers. Of course, specify a different log 
file for each run. When you have them, attach them to a message to this list so 
that we can look at them.
