I'll get to that next. First, I'd like to see if the qwerty keyboard is being 
correctly detected now. Could ypu please update to the latest code and give 
that a try?

You should see at least two evidences that the qwerty keyboard is being 
detected. One is that all of the Fn keys should work. The other is that all of 
the braille-specific bindings should no longer be in the help.
