Your log shows that Android is complaining that brltty doesn't have the 
BLUETOOTH_ADMIN permission. That's true - it doesn't have it. Even when I had 
an Android 4.0 device, I don't recall it being needed. Unfortunately, I no 
longer have, or know someone who has, an Android 4.0 device on which I can do 
any testing.
