[BRLTTY] the letter "o" not registering when typed from other keyboards on powerpc mac mini running debian jessie

This is with a powerpc mac but debian linux Jesse is on it so just the linux driver is being used. With the other issue, the control characters not working, this is a Mac running Mac OS Yosemite and so of course that is running screen.
