Presumably. I have used a raspberry pi as ssh client but have not tried to 
set up bluetooth audio. I have tried to set up audio for speech, that was 
a on a raspberry pi B. I found the onboard audio not entirely stable and 
resorted to a USB sound card dongle. That should be less finicky than 
bluetooth. The onboard one may be better nowadays though. On a different 
platform, another trick I have used is an HDMI to VGA plus 3.5mm jack 
adapter: I did not use the VGA portion at all but got the audio from the 
HDMI into a standard jack. Admittedly those adapters are unusual and your 
milage may vary. Anyway that's not exactly hat you were asking, but these 
are my two alternative ideas.
