Maybe, or maybe not. I got a message on my console about USB class 0 or host 0 or something like that already being claimed by USBHID whatever it was. I had to manually start BRLTTY; the rules didn't seem to have kicked in.
I put the rules file you sent into the system as
"/lib/udev/rules.d/brltty.rules"
and the wrapper file in
"/lib/udev"
It sounds like I might have a USB issue. What do you think?
