I downloaded  from git  after cleaning all.

Brltty compile  fine now.

P.S.  apart of this,  perhaps the following can help someone:
On osx terminal i  am working with
 An old variously 40  (serial port)
With an usb-to-serial adapter, and of course the  required driver,
Two option here: Keyspan adapter or a generic  one.
You  can find the drivers on internet.
