[BRLTTY] can u bail me out again?

I already did that. that's when the fun started.
5.6 could not read my usb.  5.3.1 is installed by root, but 5.6 was not.
Maybe that was the difference; I have no clue.

Install brltty into its own directory and run it from there.

# Get the 5.6 tarball.
cd /some/directory
tar xf /path/to/tarball
cd brltty-5.6
./configure --quiet --prefix=/usr/local/brltty-5.6
make --silent
make --silent install
# To run it, use: /usr/local/brltty-5.6/bin/brltty
