The Apex should already be supported via brltty's BrailleNote (bn) driver. Only 
serial and USB are supported, though - Bluetooth for a BrailleNote isn't 
supported (yet). Are you saying that it doesn't even work via USB, or that it 
isn't working via Bluetooth?
