They work fine. Are you using an otg (on the go) USB cable?

Assuming that the Braille Sense is set to USB, you should see an Android dialog
requesting your permission to let brltty access the device as the time you
connect the cable. If you don't confirm this request then brltty won't see it.
If you don't see the dialog then Android isn't seeing it.
