[BRLTTY] is it possible to also control usb harddisks by using yours approach

I Am wondering, if it would be possible to control External Harddisks also
from native .so libraryes like Braille devices.
Theoretically, if Android kernel would not contain harddisk drivers. Would
be possible to control Harddisk directly by using C language similarly, like
Braille USB devices? I know, that this question is only academic, because
many Android kernel versions contain many USB harddisk drivers
preconfigures, os system would not allow to control previously autodetected
USB harddisk by other routine.

If I understand it correctly, Brllty drivers can directly control USB
devices even if those Braille device drivers are not The part of Android
kernel.
