[BRLTTY] Raspberry Pi bluetooth pairing question

Hey, Dave,

Yes, that's correct. I didn't have a braille-device line in my brltty.conf.
If I read the docs correctly, the default is usb:,Bluetooth:. I paired then
ran systemctl start brltty, and no go. But I ran brltty -d
Bluetooth:<address_here>, and it worked. I also tried brltty -d Bluetooth:
with no address to see if something system was doing was the issue. In other
words, I started brltty manually but tried to get it to autodetect
Bluetooth. No luck. Only way I've gotten it to work was specifying the
Bluetooth address.

This is on the latest Raspbian release which seems to be running brltty 5.6.
I was a little sad it wasn't version 6.

I can re-test if you think it should be autodetecting.

Keith

Are you saying that brltty wasn't autodetecting your braille device AFTER it
had been paired?
