[BRLTTY] Latest humanware/APH devices and brltty on Android

Hi Bram,

The screen I get when tapping the notification suggests that I can change
USB mode on-the-fly. When I select host mode, Android says switching or
something like that, and after a while concludes that this has failed.

The setting you refer to is in developer settings I think, so you wouldn't
expect a regular user to go there.

With kind regards,
Henk.

Hi Henk, Dave,

On my Pixel 4a, which also has USB and runs Android 10 there are settings
for the USB port. I don't have the device here, but from the top of my head
there is a mode setting that let's you switch between host/device mode and
some other special modes such as external display and MIDI interface. I
guess you will have to change the mode to host before connecting your
braille display?

Best,

Bram

setting to control that. I'm sure that as long as your phone thinks that
it's the device then you won't get that access-granting dialog.
