Yes, so I told them in the bug report. I think they'll update to 6.9.1 if
they perform the update at all.

Full ACK and IMHO it is no big problem that 6.9.1 did not make it into
Fedora 44. Sure it would be nice to have it included, but finaly it is no
big issue. Better we have 6.8.x included than a problematic 6.9.0 release.
BTW.: I saw that there are RPM packages on https://brltty.app that are build
for Fedora. Maybe a solution would be to create RPMs for Fedora 44 that can
be installed manualy if they don't perform the update for the initial
release or if 6.9.1 will also be not provided by later official updates.
Lets see what they do...
