[BRLTTY] brltty 6.7 on rpi4

Oops. Working with the pi I am ssh-ing from my linux desktop which also runs brltty, so the space-l, h, s and p responses are likely from my desktop, not the pi. Duhhh.
But the intro message is from the pi as it is a newer version than the desktop.

Ok I commented the fallback-text item, added scrdrv in the debug item  and got a new log. I will 
send it in a separate email. I will also send a file of only the uncommented lines in brltty.comf in case that may be handier. Also sending the complete brltty.comf file separately.


 ou asked what display I am using with the pi. It is a focus 40 bl*e fifth gen.

I was forwarding emails from my bs6, and it had the email name configured wrongly. The nut behind the wheel as usual. When you told me about that I was able to fix it easily. Thanks.

I do not have a monitor hooked to the pi. I guess I need to comment all the screen stuff in brltty.conf.
Do you still want the screen drive entry in the debug command?

Okay, I fully agree. It's communicting with the device. The odd thing, to me, is that, even though you've clearly specified both the inpkts and outpkts log levels, no packets appear within the log.

I now see wehre that word "text" is coming from. It's what the fallbacktext screen driver parameter is set to. This implies that there's some problem with reading the screen. I'm not seeing any screen reading errors, though. Could you please add the scrdrv log category and capture another log?

Please remind me? Am I correct that you're running brltty on a bs6, i.e. on a BrailleSense 6?

Note that the system from which you forwarded the log is the one where your name is set to "gmail". You should be able to fix it with: usermod -c
