Yes, some do. We currently support autodetection via the serial port for
Papenmeier displays, TSi displays, and Baum displays. I suspect that HandyTech
displays could be added, and, now that I've been reminded of it, shall have
that tested.

All supported USB-capable displays autodetect properly via that interface.
