Of purely historical interest, the configuration software that Baum used to
supply under DOS for their displays allowed editing of both the input and
output braille tables. It wasn't as rich in features as your proposal,
however. Tables could of course be saved after editing in configuration files,
which I am sure is part of your proposal as well (in this case they would be
BRLTTY .tbl files).
