[BRLTTY] Information about installing ubuntu using brltty

Hello everyone!
I'm trying to use ubuntu 7.04 and I saw that developers integrated brltty for the console
and ocra for graphical mode.
My question is, Can I install ubuntu in text mode?
I saw certainly that It is possible in graphical mode but 
the problem is that my braille display doesn't work in orca,I prefer to use the text mode with brltty.
So can you give me some directions to do that?
