A bit of this is normal at startup. It tends to be worse with USB than with 
serial or Bluetooth due to low-level issues like mismatched data toggle states. 
Device autodetection can also cause it. The correctr fix for this issue is 
probably not to log these things in such a prominent way ... at least until the 
driver is successfully started.
