[BRLTTY] esys does not start on os x terminal

Hi Dave and all,

The Freedom §Scientific focus 40 starts and works like a charm
on os x (10.8.5) terminal (multi-users), 
but esys 40 does not start anyway.
i tried it on 3 machines with the same result
(see the excerpt of log below.

the questions:
- is the device found, the good one?
- is there an error on the Protocol?
(i tested it with auto, with eurobraille, and of course esys).

any idea?
