This looks like it's the latest production code, but not the latest development 
code. The latest development code should say "brltty-5.2dev".

Can you please build the latest development code from the git repository? I'm 
hoping it'll work a lot better for your Metec device as I've been doing a bit 
of work on the driver during the last couple of days.
