Hi List,

How supports Brltty the contracted braille input if a braille display
have a keyboard? If a braille display not have braille keyboard, the
normal PC keyboard possible using this enhancement? Braille-input tables
related what steps need to implement this function with
language-specific? This is possible and Orca supporting this mode?
Future if BRLTTY support contracted braille input I would like
implementing the hungarian language specific braille input tables.
Hungarian language contracted braille is little complex, because some
situations equals dots marking two different normal letter combinations.
For example, the cs letters dot combination in hungarian grade 1 braille
is 146. If a text have ccs letters, the dot combination is equals 146-146.
If a text have more cscs letters, the dot combination is equals 146-146
(for example the furdancscsiga word).
This situation to prevent not wanted mistakes, need a mask character
between the two single cscs letters, for example a dot 5. If the user
future typing 146-5-146 he's braille display, Brltty need returning cscs
text.
If the user typing two 146-146 dots, Brltty need returning ccs letters.
If the user typing only with one 146 dots, Brltty need returning one cs
letter.

In Liblouis already awailable with hungarian grade1 braille table,
hungarian Orca and NVDA users active using this Braille table when
reading hungarian texts.
