All the apps seem to read well except the home screen. I don't spend enough time on the home screen for it to be much of a problem. However, if braille were my only means of interacting with the phone, then it would indeed be a problem, because then I could not move beyond that screen to do anything.
I might try switching to a different launcher like google now or nova and see what that does.
