[BRLTTY] install gentoo with brltty 5.2, rev unknown

hello brltty users,
Im new in this List and in the world of Linux systems - oh and sorry for my bad english... 
My question refers to the first start of brltty from a gentoo minimal live cd. In the boot promt i write just brltty and there comes the brltty version (5.2) and it says rev unknown. I tried killall brltty, sudo brltty and so on, but there is just this text. In the brltty manual i found nothing to my problem. If anyone has an idea or a solution, i would be very thankfull.
