Dear all,

A friend of mine uses an Android phone with Talks back enabled.
When he receives an incoming call, the name or number of the caller used
to be announced to him but it seems this is no longer the case.

Does somebody here know the problem and how to solve it, please?

The short answeris that this feature was removed, because it didn’t work on all devices. Since it worked perfectly on Google’s own devices, I think the decision was rather odd at least. Your friend could try an app like shouter.
