[BRLTTY] Crash when sending char é

Hello,


I am using the api for sending char to the brailledisplay (voyager) dutch braille table nl_NL.ttb .

Unfortunate when the é (e with acute accent) is send - brlapi_writeText(0,"my string with é in it") - my program crashes.

Can anybody give me advise? On de commandline when i open braille table nl_NL.ttb i can see the é in braille (123456  ).

Using raspberrypi as hardware (raspian)
