Hi, I think if you ask for raw keycodes when you enter in tty mode you should get drive-specific keypresses from which you should be able to extract dots. However this is driver-specific. I don't see a way to do it in a more general way because not all braille devices have a braille keyboard. Best wishes, Shérab.
