I'm not sure what that is. Are you referring to a Linux kernel version, a
brltty version, or what?

I need to understand the issue better. To me, nothing about upgrading a Linux
system, upgrading a brltty release, or whatever, would change a password and/or
ones ability to enter it accurately.
