I assume you're referring to brltty's alert tunes, e.g. for when you do things
like try to navigate beyond the edge of the screen.

It can. The control is, however, within brltty's Preferences Menu rather than
within its Android Settings.

Go into brltty's Preferences Menu, and then navigate to and open the Event
Alerts submenu. There, you can set Alert Tunes to No. Alternatively, you can
leave it set to Yes and adjust the PCM Volume.
