I was given a demonstration of this product at a conference several 
years ago.

It was highly effective for reading BRF files, as advertised. Although 
the process of updating the entire display is relatively slow, you can 
start reading at the top of the display while it's still refreshing the 
remaining lines.

The noise level may be of concern to some users, although it's much 
quieter than a typical braille embosser.
