[BRLTTY] how to start and stop brltty

Hi.  I am very confused about starting and stopping brltty these days,
particularly with 6.3.

I am getting lots of things in my logs like
Feb 21 11:46:46 ccs.covici.com systemd[1396550]:
brltty at -sys-devices-pci0000:00-0000:00:14.0-usb1-1\x2d10-1\x2d10.3.service:
Failed to determine user credentials: No such process

So, what is happening here?  I used to just have a service which would
start and stop it manually, now that seems to be inconflict with
something.  Not sure what module its looking for.
