[BRLTTY] [ht] Basic Braille Plus not recognised

Hi

I am trying to use a BasicBraille Plus 40, V 4.2 (device identifies itself as
this). It seems that BRLTTY cannot recognise it vis USB.
I've compiled latest master and took a log with

/opt/bin/brltty \
    -L /tmp/log \
    -l inpkts,outpkts,brlkeys,update,gio,usb,hid,brldrv \
    -b ht

(attached).
Pairing the device over bluetooth works, the device is recognised fine.
In the configuration menu of the display, I've enagbled USB-only mode and
disabled smart switching, but this didn't help for BRLTTY to detect the
device. `lsusb` says:
Bus 001 Device 047: ID 1fe4:0094 Handy Tech Elektronik GmbH Basic Braille
and BRLTTY actually probes for this ID, as can be seen in the logs.

Any ideas?
