[BRLTTY] Old Question about ALVA

How old is your display? 
Optelec, who produced the Alva, does not do maintainance after 5 years.
These displays are quite expensive so I think that 5 years is abit short.
My guess would be that some dirt is blocking tthe buttons.
It could be a software prroblem but since I am a Linux user I can't judge
that.
Maybe you could contact the developers of brltty:
