Thank youo Jason! I will definitely keep that in mind.

At the moment, I am not yet super clear about what I want because I do
not know yet what will be the "definitive" scenario in which I will want
to have this feature available.

For instance I don't know whether I will want to have it working form
graphical terminals only or also from the virtual consoles. If on a
virtual console, well I know it's bad but it turns out I do not always
have a running X server. Neither am I systematic about which browser I'd
like to use. So I'll take the time to experiment, incubate but
ultimately I think your suggestion will become very handy so a bunch of
thanks to you.
