I just wanted to follow-up on the message below:

I investigated and AIUI Mate has not yet been ported to Wayland, which
would mean also changing desktop from Mate to GNOME.

I always thought Mate ismore accessible than GNOME. Am I wrong about
this or is it something that was true in the past but has changed since?

Except if Mate is more accessible, as I said above.
