Dear all,
I jsut wanted to report here about this discussion:
https://github.com/karthink/gptel/issues/1135
I think it would be very helpful if those of you who use Emacs would
follow and contribute to it.
The discussion is about Emacs' transient menu, which has been developed
in the context of Magit (to use Git from withi Emacs) and is
also used by the gtpel mode that gives access to many LLMs from within
Emacs.
Basically the menu is displayed in a window that does not have the
focus and cannot be focused. When Emacs is run in graphical mode a
second ppoint is shown in the transientmenu's window but in
--no-window-system mode that point is not shown either. So it's a bit
difficult for us to benefit from this transient menu as sighted users
can, especially because this menu lets you kind of auto-discover what
you can do, which we BRLTTY users cannot do.
For tose interested, the GitHub discussion should be clear.
Seb.
