This is absolutely fascinating and very cool. I see a lot of potential
for such an approach to help people dealing with fresh vision loss or as a
safety net when accessibility breaks or is lacking, but I don't ever see
it replacing a screen-reader plugged right into the OS for productivity
purposes. It seems very unlikely that such a solution could ever
provide latencies sufficiently low to complete tasks in an altogether
fluid manner. Part of why I harbour such a strong dislike for GUIs is
the perceptible latency when interacting with the OS, something which I
rarely if ever experience with BRLTTY on console.
