[BRLTTY] Tmsnc and brltty

Hi
 
I have just installed tmsnc, a text based msn messenger client on my
linux machine.   However, wwhen I use tab and the arrow keys to navigate
the menus brltty doesn't seem able to track the selected item, thus
making the aplication unusable.  
 
Has anyone had any success with this app and brltty?  If not, are there
any simple modifications I could make to the tmsnc source to make it
accessible?
