[BRLTTY] Welcome and newbie question

Hi everybody, 

my name is Ginger and I am new to this list and more or less new to 
brltty. I used it years ago - approx. 10 years ago with a Navigator 40 
and now I use it again with a Papenmeier el 40 s. 
And that's where my problem is right now:
Everything works fine but colors seems to cause a major problem. E.g. 
if I do an "ls" I can read the names of the files but none of the 
directories and the same when I am using lynx - the selected link is 
not readable. 

I looked into the preference menu and hel file but could not find 
anything useful to solve this little inconvinience. 

Therefore, I would appriciate your ideas and comments.

The box said to install Nt 4.0 or better - so I installed Solaris
