[BRLTTY] An idea: BRLTTY as Windows service?

Hello,

now we are seeing serious effort to bring BRLTTY on Windows platform. 
What about making it work in similar way Apaceh or MySQL work - they can 
be either ran as a regular program (the only way on Win9x/ME), or can 
run as a Windows service. I think this could solve many problems, since 
service is a Windows equivalent of *nix' demon. And since a service must 
properly handle a Stop signal, there could be a way to correctly 
terminate BRLTTY without killing it by force.

BTW, Vista introduces concept of SideShow hardware clients. What about 
making Braille display a SideShow client?
