[BRLTTY] Problem with the new version.

Hi everybody,
I'm an Ubuntu Gutsy user.
I installed the new version of brltty (3.9) via apt-get, from the 
repository owned by Luke Yelavich (ppa.launchpad.net, I guess).
When rebooting after installation, I noticed that I cannot access a 
text terminal window anymore: pressing ctrl+alt+f1 causes the 
terminal to be shown, but I have no braille support.
Is it possible to solve this problem somehow?
