Is there a way to intercept the console directly on FreeBSD, without using
screen or the screen patch? I thought I read somewhere, a while ago, that the
FreeBSD maintainers were planning a rewrite of the TTY code to support virtual
consoles, so perhaps there is an interface for which a screen driver could be
written.
