I wouldn't rely on what your Braille Note does. You need to read the UEBC
manual to find out what the rules are.

I would suggest starting here:
http://www.iceb.org/ueb.html
and that you should first check the contractions committee report, which would
appear to be most relevant. If the answer isn't there, then the Committee II
reports are the place to look.

I don't use UEBC, so I can't help any further.
