I can't speak for any of those distributions. What I can tell you is that a few
of the text table names have changed between 3.10 and 4.0 because the old names
were confusing and meaningless.

>I was talking about no (Norsk), and see now two things:
>no-h and no-p on one side,

Those are 3.10 names.

>and
>no-generic and no-oub on the other side.

Those are 4.0 names.

>Can someone here in this room teel me what is what and what is correct and
>what isn't ?

You're comparing a list of 3.10 names with a lsit of 4.0 names. Doing that will
lead to the kinds of problems you're having. While there have only been a few
renames, 4.0 also has a lot of new text tables in it as well (which you won't
find at all in the 3.10 list).

>I understand lesser and lesser while I'm trying to create a
>correct list of cheatcodes for the isolinux.cfg of Vinux (based on Ubuntu
>Intrepid), so using 3.10.

If you're doing work that needs to be based on 3.10 then you should use the
name list which contains no-h and no-p.

>It'll be nice if some have the right / one and only correct list of the
>tables supposed been working with v3.10 based distros.

i'm sure your name list which contains no-h and no-p is just such a list.

>And also tell me if no-* is the only who have or is inted to change 365
>times its name?

no-* are the old names, but, for work based on 3.10, those are the names you'll
need to use. For 4.0, there've been a few renames to make them more sensible,
and I don't expect them to change again.

When you upgrade to 4.0, you'll need to do those renames, and you'll also need
to add all the new tables. The addition of new tables is something which must
be expected any time there's a new release.
