I remember asking, some time ago, when you need a new release by. What's 
happening on October 12?

One of the reasons I've been somewhat hesitant to do a new release now is 
because our migration of some (now 10) of the drivers to use key tables has 
unfortunately meant a temporary loss of some useful convenience bindings. I 
need to decide, therefore, if we want a release with that as its downside or if 
we want a release with just the fix you need.
