[BRLTTY] grade 2 braille

I am a newby to this list and I have a question.
Why when I specify grade 2 Braille in my command to run BRLTTY I get
some Braille output in grade 2 and some in grade 1?
Could this be to give clarity for example when displaying computer
Braille where some signs in Computer Braille mean something different in
UK or is this mixture of Grade 1 and Grade 2 a bug?
