Ok. Could you try the 4.3-x and 4.2-x versions from

4.2-x is supposed to be a 4.2 version simply rebuilt with my current
compilers etc., just to make sure that the issue doesn't come from
there.

4.3-x is a "looks-yet-more-like 4.2" version.
