[BRLTTY] where to get latest beta brltty and espeak on old fedora?

Two kind of dumb questions:
1. Where do I get the latest beta code to try? can only find the stable
release on the brltty site?

2. To test Dave's latest speech stuff I need to implement espeak.
Have downloaded espeak but don't appear to have "Portaudio' on this old
Fedora 7.

Can I just install Portaudio without messing up other audio stuff?
or should i wait till I upgrade Fedora soon?
