[BRLTTY] esys 40 not working

hi all,

i try to make working my esys 40 eurobraille.
unfortunately, there is a problem with it:
formerly it used to work (previous old versions of brltty).

now, i tried brltty V4.5, on debian, on freebsd,  and os x.
and the newer version from github, with the same result.

the response is always (the same on the 3 systems:  usb (hid) resource busy.
on debian: error 16…

any hint would be really appreciated
